How to Measure Social Media Success

by Matt October 17, 2009

How do you measure social media success? I’ve read on Twitter for months now why I need to be involved in social media. It didn’t matter what my business was because, naturally, social media is for everyone. No business exists that can’t benefit from social media. Social media, social media, social media. People: How’s this for your social? STFU (That’s a social acronym for shut the fuck up). How the hell can you decide I need to be involved in social media without knowing my business or my resources? If you’re

SEO Blogs – SEO Resources

by Matt July 13, 2009

When it comes to SEO blogs, or resources, there are a ton to choose from. Some of these blogs are very high profile, some are hidden gems, and some just steal content. To help you sort through some of these, I’m beginning a list of the blogs I read and the resources I use. It is intended to be a work in progress and it’s something I’ll update as time permits. 2008 World Series Champions

by Matt July 10, 2009

The Philadelphia Phillies are the 2008 World Series Champions.

This was music to the ears of long suffering Philadelphia Phillies fans, especially Matt Leonard.

When Brad Lidge threw the last pitch it sent Citizens Bank Park into a frenzy. Strangers hugged and slapped high fives until their hands were purple. Trash cans were set ablaze and cars were stomped on.

The Rays were forced to hang out in cold, rainy Philadelphia for a few extra days for no reason at all. There would be no cuddling in the champagne room for the Rays, or their fans.

In the end, a great memory replaced a bad one. No longer does Joe Carter haunt my memories. Now the memories are of Brad Lidge going to his knees and getting plowed over.

Keeping Busy

by Matt July 3, 2009

Lately things have been extremely hectic.

My mother, Gayle Leonard, has been hospitalized with Ovarian Cancer and my father passed away last week.

For obvious reasons, blogging has become extremely low priority.

“If you don’t follow people who follow you, you’re arrogant”.
I’m sure you’ve heard many Twitterers make this claim to justify their quest for follower immortality. At a glance, it makes sense. If you’re interested in what I have to say, but I don’t care what you have to say, I must be anti-social, arrogant or [...]
